About Fox Hills Cidery
Nestled in Strathcona County, Alberta, Fox Hills Cidery is a family-owned cidery built on a simple idea: cider should be crafted with the same care and patience as a fine painting.
It's why every can and bottle we make is wrapped in artwork inspired by the classical masters — still lifes, orchards, and pastoral scenes that echo the tradition we're part of. Cider-making is centuries old, and we wanted our labels to feel like they belong to that lineage, not just sit on a shelf.
We start with premium Okanagan apples, hand-selected for flavour, and ferment them slowly using traditional methods. No shortcuts, no artificial flavouring — just real fruit, real fermentation, and a lot of patience. Some of our ciders stay true to the apple. Others are infused with natural fruit — grapefruit, blackberry, lemon, peach — for something a little more playful, but always made the same way: small batches, carefully fermented, bottled and canned by hand.
Fox Hills started as a family project and is still run that way today. We're based right here in Sherwood Park, and every cider that leaves our cidery has been tasted, tweaked, and approved by the same small team that started this thing.
Thanks for drinking local. We hope you find something in our lineup worth collecting.
